Colonel Sean McBride
Senior Consultant
Sean McBride is a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach with Geffner Group, LLC. A native of Butte, Montana, Sean served in the Marine Corps for over 30 years, successfully leading dynamic, high-performing organizations in the United States, Europe, and Asia as well as during combat operations in the Middle East. During his final Marine Corps assignment, Sean served as the Naval Department Chair and Professor of Naval Science at USC and UCLA, where he developed the next generation of Naval Leaders. After retiring from the Marine Corps in 2021, Sean accepted a position as Vice President and Senior Program Manager for a small environmental company supporting NASA space launch operations at the Kennedy Space Center and then moved on to serve as an Executive Director of a large Defense Contracting Firm primarily supporting the Marine Corps and Special Operations Forces.
Sean is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach with extensive experience coaching leaders in the entrepreneurial and public sectors, law enforcement, higher education, information technology, and national security. His diverse client portfolio includes leaders within the Department of Defense, the LAPD, the State of California, USC and UCLA, small companies including Freedom Learning Group, HSG, and KilPen Technical Services, and large companies including Pratt & Whitney and Southern California Edison. In addition to coaching leaders and providing leadership development training and consulting, Sean is an experienced keynote speaker and volunteers as a coach and mentor for several organizations supporting veterans and transitioning service members. Sean earned Master's degrees in Leadership from the University of Southern California, Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, and is an authorized DiSC™ practitioner and LEAD NOW! Certified Coach.
